History

The Church History dates back to 1886, once known as Hawkins Chapel A.M.E Church, and there were many leaders from 1922-1967.  1980-2001 under other leaders the church was reconstructed, and other structures were added. In 2005  Mt. Carmel A.M.E became an  entity and now operates under the name Mt. Carmel Methodist Church, Inc.   2012, the church was totally rebuilt from the ground-up.  2013, was the year we held services in the new House of God.  2014, the church was dedicated to our Lord and Savior for the up building of His Kingdom.

To this day,  the Pastor, Officers, and Members acknowledge those who have gone on to be with the Lord.....
